The Eureka 2024 Global Innovation Summit, focusing on green and digital transformation, was held at the Haliç Congress Center in Istanbul on 13-14 June 2024. The event brought together approximately 2,000 high-level participants from 47 Eureka member countries, including leading firms, innovation leaders, industrial organisations and SMEs.
Organised by TÜBİTAK under Türkiye’s 2023-2024 Eureka Chairmanship, the summit featured the theme “Bridging Green and Digital Transformation.” The event was attended by Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and TÜBİTAK President Hasan Mandal.
Key topics discussed at the summit included green transformation, digitalisation, data dynamics, smart cities, urban innovation, circular economy and sustainable production.
A panel highlighted Türkiye’s achievements within the Eureka framework, emphasising the significant role Eureka plays in strengthening bilateral and multilateral collaborations. The discussions underscored how efforts within the network have enhanced both awareness and solution development activities in addressing global challenges, particularly in terms of sustainability and efficiency.
